The All Star Sports Resort is the perfect pick for athletes and fans alike. You’ll find baseball, basketball, football, surfing, and tennis motifs everywhere you turn. All of the value hotels recently underwent large refurbishments meaning you will get modern rooms at all the resorts now. Pros: Â food court has good options for kids, kids love the theming, great price, it's the first stop on the bus transportation shared between the value resorts
Cons:Â bus transportation here tends to be challenging with longer wait and multiple stops to get to and from the resort, as a value resort there are no water slides, hot tub or table service restaurant, if there are athletic tournaments at the ESPN Wide World of Sports these teams usually stay here in large groups

The All Star Music Resort pays homage to the popular musical genres of country, jazz, rock ’n’ roll, calypso, and Broadway show tunes. With two pools, a playground, an arcade, and shopping options, there is something to keep every toe tapping.
Pros: the only value resort that combines suites and standard rooms in the same buildings which can be advantage for families meeting at Disney World, it's in between All Star Sports and All Star Movies so you can walk to either resort if you want to visit the other food courts, food court has good options for kids, kids love the theming
Cons:Â bus transportation here tends to be challenging with longer wait and multiple stops to get to and from the resort, busses are typically shared between all the value resorts (except for Art of Animation), as a value resort there are no water slides, hot tub or table service restaurant
Starting at just $148 per night, the All Star Music resort will be music to your ears and to your wallet. This budget Disney resort is a fantastic option and just a few dollars more a night than the All Star Sports if you prefer this theme better. We loved our stay at this resort and especially appreciated how much money we saved!
4. Disney's All Star Movies Resort
The All Star Movies Resort is a celebration of Walt Disney films. Toy Story, Fantasia, 101 Dalmatians, Mighty Ducks, and the Love Bug are all portrayed in colorful, larger-than-life figurines. This resort has a variety of entertainment options and is a short bus ride to the Animal Kingdom. This is the most popular of the three themed All Star Resorts since families connect more to the Disney icons around the property. Because of that this value hotel tends to sell out faster during promotions!
Pros:Â all of the amenities are in close proximity to the rooms so that eliminates longer walks around the resort, the food court has a lot of options, kids love the theming, great price
Cons:Â bus transportation here tends to be challenging with longer wait and multiple stops to get to and from the resort, busses are typically shared between all the value resorts (except for Art of Animation) and the All Star Movies resort is the last stop, as a value resort there are no water slides, hot tub or table service restaurant

5. Disney's Pop Century Resort
The Pop Century Resort takes you right back to the later decades of the 20th century. From bowling balls to the yoyo, experience all the most popular fads and trends of the 1950s-1990s. This resort stands out because of its multiple large, themed pools and even has a waterslide. Plus, it has its own bus system which makes for a quick trip to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Pros: kids love the theming , can walk to Art of Animation to eat at their food court, good location near all four theme parks, newly updated rooms, located on the Skyliner transportation system, small property means easy walk to all amenities.
Cons: as a value resort there are no water slides, hot tub or table service restaurants
With a base price of $188 per night, the Pop Century resort is totally groovy choice for your whole family. This is my favorite value hotel at Walt Disney World and the hotel I choose to stay at over all the others on this list! See why this is our favorite value hotel at Walt Disney World!
6. Disney's Art of Animation Resort
The Art of Animation Resort is continually rated highly among guests and reviewers. The resort spotlights several of Disney’s most beloved animated films including Cars, Finding Nemo, Lion King, and The Little Mermaid. Besides all of the fun, themed amenities, the resort is dog-friendly and features it’s very own bus system for added convenience.
Pros: food court is huge and as a large range of options, kids love the theming, themed family suites available, doesn't share a bus line with the other value resorts, one of the largest pools of the Disney World hotels, located on the Skyliner transportation system
Cons: as a value resort there are no water slides, hot tub or table service restaurant, standard rooms only available in Little Mermaid theming which might not appeal to everyone, standard rooms located in the back of the resort which means a longer walk to the transportation, have to transfer at Skyliner station to get to the parks
With a starting price of $231 a night for the regular Little Mermaid rooms (the suites will put you in a higher cost bracket making them the most expensive option on this list)- it’s easily one of our top picks for those who don’t want to have to choose between immaculate theming and affordability. I highly recommend this budget Disney hotel, it is a great addition to our cheapest Disney hotels list. This is widely regarded as the best of the Disney value resorts along with Disneys Pop Century Resort.Â
7. Disney's Coronado Springs Resort
Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort houses a convention center, so it truly excels in terms of amenities and convenience. This is an odd hotel to try and rank since the pricing varies so much between the older part of the hotel and the new Gran Destino Tower. If you pick the older Coronado Springs Resort rooms located outside the tower, you will get the cheapest price. If you pick a room inside the tower, your nightly rate will dramatically increase. For the best price, opt for the cheaper rooms if you don't mind being far from the tower amenities.Â
Pros: moderate hotel with hot tub and water slides, table service restaurant, great food variety on-site, updated amenities, does not share a bus with other resorts
Cons: large resort which means you may have to walk far to your room, very subtle theming which may not appeal to families, can be busy with business groups since it doubles as a convention center
The resort, starting at $244 a night for the standard rooms outside the Gran Destino Tower, is very centrally located and offers many more amenities than other similarly-priced stays including a health club, beauty salon, several pools, and more.
8. Disney's Port Orleans Resort- French Quarter
Port Orleans Resort- French Quarter is one half of the larger Port Orleans Resort. The other half is Port Orleans- Riverside. The theme of these two resorts are both sides of the coin of Louisiana with French Quarter embodying the spirit of New Orleans. French Quarter has theming inspired by New Orleans and Mardi Gras with fun, larger than life figures in the pool area like big alligators!Â
Pros:boat transportation option, great theming for adults and kids without being overly cartoon focused, can access the pool and restaurants for either side of Port Orleans, moderate hotel with hot tub and water slides
Cons: large resort which means you may have to walk far to your room, no table service restaurant in the French Quarter
Port Orleans- French Quarter is often slightly more affordable than it's Riverside counterpart starting at around $246 per night. We do love the recreational amenities at French Quarter including the Scat Cat's Club.
9. Disney's Port Orleans Resort- Riverside
Port Orleans- Riverside is one of the most romantic, charming resorts you’ll find, but it has immersive theming too, making it a fun choice for both couples and children. Plus, it offers a variety of dining options and is pet friendly. And as a bonus: you'll feel like you just stepped foot onto the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. This resort also features the fun Royal Rooms which are themed to Princess and the Frog. And as a bonus: you'll feel like you just stepped foot onto the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.
Pros: boat transportation option, great theming for adults and kids without being overly cartoon focused, can access the pool and restaurants for either side of Port Orleans, moderate hotel with hot tub and water slides
Cons: large resort which means you may have to walk far to your room, Royal Rooms are slightly more expensive and are a far walk away
The Port Orleans-Riverside Resort is slightly more expensive than French Quarter averaging a starting price of $252 per night. This is a fan favorite resort for adults traveling without children but that doesn't mean you won't see kids here. It just has a perfect, romantic atmosphere for couples.Â
10. Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort
The Caribbean Beach resort offers vibrant theming, larger rooms, and beautiful landscaping. The resort has great theming for a tropical vacation vibe with plenty of pool options for everyone. The biggest perk of this resort out of all the other moderate level resorts is that it offers Skyliner transportation which is why it is also the most expensive on the list. If you want moderate level amenities, like table service restaurants and bigger pools, with Skyliner access than this is a great option.
Pros: as a moderate resort the pool has waterslides and a hot tub, table service restaurant available, Skyliner transportation
