Walt Disney World 2025 Christmas Dates

Disney World Christmas decorations

Walt Disney World will celebrate the holiday season November 14 through December 31, 2025. We now have the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party 2025 dates and ticket info for the party at Magic Kingdom and the 2025 Jollywood Nights dates and ticket info for the party at Hollywood Studios.

The celebration at EPCOT doesn't start until after Thanksgiving Day and this year follows that same tradition. EPCOT International Festival of Holidays starts November 28 and concludes December 30, 2025.

Magic Kingdom Returning Holiday Celebrations

Christmas Disney World Food Guide

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is the most popular holiday celebration at Walt Disney World. The ticketed event at Magic Kingdom includes the popular Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas Parade, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show, character dance parties, and seasonal overlays of attractions.

Guests can enjoy Frozen Holiday Surprise each night in front of Cinderella Castle with appearances from Anna, Kristoff and Elsa as she transforms Cinderella Castle into a shimmering palace.

The famous Jingle Cruise holiday overlay will also return to the Jungle Cruise with holiday decor and skippers telling holiday-themed gags.

Disney Starlight Parade Continues During Holidays

The new Disney Starlight parade will continue its run during the holiday season and will be available twice each night. The parade will not be available on evenings Magic Kingdom hosts Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

This is great news as this parade is going to be a huge draw for many guests visiting Walt Disney World and I'm happy to see it continue through the popular holiday season.

EPCOT International Festival of Holidays

epcot festival of holidays

The EPCOT International Festival of Holidays is one of the best celebrations at Walt Disney World which includes the famous Candlelight Processional. Celebrity narrators bring the story of Christmas to life onstage with previous guests including Josh Gad, Neil Patrick Harris, and Jodi Benson. The lineup will be announced at a later date. Performances are held nightly at 5 p.m., 6:45 p.m., and 8:15 p.m., with a runtime of approximately 50 minutes.

Other highlights at EPCOT include the holiday storytellers, JOYFUL! A Celebration of the Season, Olaf's Holiday Scavenger Hunt, and a special holiday overlay Living with the Land- Glimmering Greenhouses.

Disney has also confirmed that the popular Holiday Cookie Stroll will return with returning favorites like  the Coffee-Mocha Cookie topped with Coffee-infused Buttercream, Cocoa Nibs, and Chocolate-covered Espresso Beans.

Hollywood Studios Offers Jollywood Nights and More

Jollywood Disney World

Jollywood Nights will return to Hollywood Studios for the holiday season. This ticketed holiday party has improved since it's initial run and has been popular with adults.

Hollywood Studios also includes the return of Sunset Seasons Greetings with the nightly holiday projections transforming the Hollywood Tower Hotel into a Muppets gingerbread masterpiece, a Toy Story toy hotel, a corner of Arendelle, and a Dickensian village from “Mickey’s Christmas Carol.”

The Hyperion theater will continue to feature “For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration” as guests enjoy the Royal Historians of Arendelle recounting the popular “Frozen” story.

Animal Kingdom Winter Puppets and Nighttime Show Return

Animal Kingdom Holiday

Animal Kingdom also offers some holiday features including the Merry Menagerie at Discovery Island featuring puppets of penguins, reindeer, foxes, and polar bears.

The “Tree of Life Awakenings Holiday Edition” will return to the Tree of Life with a series of wintry tales and holiday-inspired musical scores. The show begins after dark each night and occurs approximately every 10 minutes until the park closes.

Disney Springs and Resort Hotels Holiday Entertainment

Disney Springs and the Disney Resort Hotels also celebrate the holiday season with the popular Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll, holiday decor at Jock Lindsey's Holiday Bar, and breathtaking decorations across the resort hotels. One of the most popular aspects of those resort hotel decorations are the Disney World gingerbread houses although this year Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa will be missing from the lineup as the lobby finishes up construction for its new lobby bar.

Guests can also enjoy holiday themed character interactions, a huge food lineup, decorations, and more during the Christmas season at Walt Disney World.

The event will allow guests into Hollywood Studios a half-hour earlier this year with entry to the park available at 5:30 p.m. The party itself takes place at 7:30 p.m. and goes into 12:30 a.m.

This is great news because this new ticketed party will NOT result in Hollywood Studios closing early, like we see for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party at Magic Kingdom. That makes it a win, win situation for everyone!

Here are the 2025 Jollywood Nights dates:

  • Nov. 8, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29
  • Dec. 1, 6, 10, 13, 17, 20, 22

These date-specific event tickets do not require an additional day theme park ticket or theme park reservation.

Disney Jollywood Prices

Pricing varies by date with tickets starting at $159 per ticket and maxing out at $199 per ticket. The most expensive tickets will be the events closest to the holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Jollywood Nights tickets will go on sale first to guests of Disney Resort hotels beginning July 16, 2025. All other guests may purchase tickets beginning July 22, 2025. This is also the same date that tickets go on sale for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

Jollywood Nightmare Before Xmas

Jollywood Disney World

The new promo image shared above gives us a look at brand new character costumes for the Jollywood Nights party at Hollywood Studios. The new outfits are inspired by the vintage atmosphere of the party which aims to celebrate the glitz and glam of Hollywood. Pastels were a common trend in ornaments from the ‘30s, ‘40s or ‘50s which inspired the mint green and soft reds.

You can meet the characters in their new outfits in the Animation Courtyard during the event.

Christmas at Walt Disney World is one of the best times of the year to visit and one of the most popular yearly traditions is the ticketed Christmas party at Magic Kingdom. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is a ticketed holiday event held on select nights in November and December.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is my favorite holiday event at Walt Disney World and it is truly a not-miss experience if you plan on visiting during the holiday season. The atmosphere of this party is so joyful and you will see many guests decked out in their ugly sweater holiday best. My teenage son loves the holiday overlays they add to the rides, like Christmas music on Space Mountain, and the interactive character experiences. We love Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and it's a must-do for your holiday season at Walt Disney World!

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party includes event-exclusive entertainment like the popular Christmas parade, holiday fireworks, rare character meet and greets, and more! Keep reading for a complete guide on offerings to learn more about the festive celebration, ticket information, dates, prices, and more.

Busier days mean more expensive tickets, so if you can, it may be worth it to try to attend early in the season on a weekday and avoid Thanksgiving.

Pricing varies by date with tickets starting at $169 per ticket and maxing out at $229 per ticket. The most expensive tickets will be the events closest to the holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can save $10 per ticket to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, valid for select event nights.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party tickets will go on sale first to guests of Disney Resort hotels beginning July 16, 2025. All other guests may purchase tickets beginning July 22, 2025. This is also the same date that tickets go on sale for 2025 tickets for Jollywood Nights.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Entertainment

Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party

One of the best parts of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is the event's exclusive entertainment. My two favorites of this list (below!) are Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade and Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks. These are the two options I recommend you prioritize the most during your party experience!

PRO TIP: One hidden Disney secret that many guests do not know about is that during the week of Christmas, Walt Disney World runs both this parade and fireworks each night so all guests can experience them- not just party ticket guests!

Frozen Holiday Surprise

Frozen Holiday Surprise is the new castle lighting show that is led by Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf from the popular Frozen film.

This is a seven-minute show that happens each night at 6:15 PM and 8:15 PM so this will take place during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Since it happens nightly, this is available for all guests to view, not just party guests.

Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade

WDW Christmas Party

Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is one of the BEST exclusive party entertainment that is offered. You cannot miss this parade!  The parade includes incredible holiday parade floats with favorite Disney characters in their holiday outfits along with dancing gingerbread men, toy soldiers, Santa Claus, and reindeer.

Mickeys Very merry Christmas Party

The holiday parade happens twice during the party and begins in Frontierland and makes its way to Liberty Square, circles in front of Cinderella's Castle, and heads down Main Street, U.S.A. If you want one of the most coveted parade spots on Main Street or in front of Cinderella's Castle facing the bridge from Liberty Square then you want to start saving your spot at least 60-90 minutes before parade time.

Mickeys Very merry Christmas Party

The less popular spots will be in the Fronterland and Liberty Square areas so if you don't want to devote as much time to getting a parade spot those are options for getting a good view too. But like with all Disney parades, the second parade show will always be the least crowded.

The parade starts in Frontierland and has two performance times: 8:30 PM and 11:00 PM.

Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks

Mickeys Very Merry Christmas

This fireworks show is hosted by Minnie Mouse herself and celebrates the magic of Christmas featuring well-known Christmas favorites such as “Joy to the World” and “Deck the Halls” to “Up on the House Top” and “We Wish You A Merry Christmas.”

Castle projections align with the fireworks show so the best view will be one that includes a good view of Cinderella's Castle. Guests should plan on saving a spot at least 30 minutes (even earlier on busy part nights) to get a good spot. The nice benefit of fireworks at Walt Disney World is that Cinderella's Castle offers such a large viewing around that you often do not need to line up that early to get a good spot.

This is one of the entertainment options you should prioritize during the event, the fireworks show is stunning and does a wonderful job incorporating holiday music with Disney callbacks.

Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks takes place at 10 PM.

Fireworks Holiday Dessert Party

Christmas fireworks

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party also offers two dessert parties to view the holiday fireworks. These parties come with reserved viewing areas to view the holiday fireworks.

Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Dessert Party with Plaza Garden Viewing

This dessert party includes a buffet along with standing area viewing in the East Plaza Garden. The price for adults is $109 per person and $59 for children ages 3 to 9.

The Plaza Garden viewing dessert party includes a buffet with these options:

  • Chocolate-Dipped Strawberries and Mini French Silk Pies
  • Holiday-inspired sweets, such as Candy Cane Tarts
  • A selection of cheeses
  • Refreshing beverages—including an assortment of beer and wine for Guests ages 21 and over with a valid form of identification

Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Dessert Party at Tomorrowland Terrace

This dessert party includes a buffet along with seated viewing on the Tomorrowland Terrace. The price for adults is $119 per person and $75 for children ages 3 to 9.

The Tomorrowland Terrace dessert party includes a buffet with these options:

  • Chocolate-Dipped Strawberries and Mini French Silk Pies
  • Holiday-inspired sweets, such as Candy Cane Tarts
  • A selection of cheeses
  • Refreshing beverages—including an assortment of beer and wine for Guests ages 21 and over with a valid form of identification

Both dessert parties offer the same foods, the only main difference is the viewing whether you opt for the Plaza Garden standing room only or seated Tomorrowland Terrace viewing.

Mickey's Most Merriest Celebration

Mickeys Very merry Christmas Party

Mickey's Most Merriest Celebration is a full-stage show with music, snowfall, holiday songs, and Disney characters in front of Cinderella's Castle. The show includes a mix of classic and recent popular holiday music and includes Donald and Daisy Duck, Goofy, Pluto, Peter Pan, Snow White, Alice, Jessie and the White Rabbit…. plus more! This show is so fun and plays multiple times throughout the night!

Mickeys very merry christmas party

This is a fun show to watch and takes place often during the event so it's fairly easy to fit into your evening.

The show takes place at 7:40PM, 9:25PM, 10:35PM, 11:55PM on the stage in front of Cinderella's Castle.

Jingle Junior Jingle Jam

Jingle Junior Jingle Jam is a holiday-themed dance party featuring popular Disney Junior characters like Fancy Nancy, Vampirina, Doc McStuffins, and The Lion Guard.

This show plays multiple times throughout the night and is a great choice for younger kids. This is an easy show to see since you do not need to line up early and it repeats often throughout the party. While this is a fun experience, I do think this entertainment option is something you can skip to prioritize other experiences at the party unless you have Disney Junior fans in your group!

The show takes place throughout the duration of the party at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe.

Club Tinsel

Club Tinsel

Club Tinsel is a live dance party with a DJ featuring favorite holiday characters like reindeer, polar bears, elves, and more.  While this is a fun experience, I do think this entertainment option is something you can skip to prioritize other experiences at the party!

Club Tinsel takes place intermittently throughout the duration of the party on the Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland.

Reindeer Wranglers

The Reindeer Wranglers are a small live band that will be playing country-style holiday tunes as they celebrate with the bears from Country Bear Jamboree in Frontierland.

Performances take place at 7:15 PM, 8:05PM, 9:30 PM, and 11:40 Pm.

Meet-and-Greets at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party also offers a lineup of event-exclusive meet and greets along with the chances to meet popular characters in their holiday attire.

Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party

The most popular of all these meet and greets is the chance to meet Jack and Sally from Nightmare Before Christmas on Main Street, U.S.A. in Town Square Theater! The lines for this meet and greet average 90 minutes to two hours on most nights and rarely drop below one hour. While this is a cool meet and greet, I don't recommend spending such a large chunk of your party time waiting for it. They do allow guests to start lining up before the party starts, this would be the best way to meet them without sacrificing too much party time! Check in with the cast member at this area around 5:30 PM which is usually when they open up the line.

Mickeys Very Merry Christmas

Guests can also meet Mickey Mouse in his holiday outfit on Main Street, U.S.A. in Town Square Theater which is another popular meet and greet but not nearly as packed as the Jack and Sally one! This Mickey Mouse meet and greet does not have an actual PhotoPass photographer but one of the automated cameras. I am personally not a fan of these as the picture quality is not great (you can see the difference if you compare the pictures above!) and you do not get the chance to be as creative with your photos.

Santa Goofy

Other themed characters to find include Santa Claus in Liberty Square along with Santa Goofy and Scrooge McDuck in the Storybook Circus area.

Disney Christmas Party Characters

While the 2025 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party details have not yet been announced, you can see the full confirmed characters list and their locations from last year's Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party below:

Main Street, U.S.A.

  • Mickey Mouse
  • Jack Skellington and Sally

Adventureland

  • Aladdin

  • Jasmine
  • Genie
  • Jack Sparrow
  • Peter Pan
  • Stitch

Frontierland

  • Country Bears: Liverlips, Shaker, Wendell, Big Al
  • Tiana and Naveen

Liberty Square

  • Santa Claus

One of my favorite character experiences at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party was meeting Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum over in Fantasyland. They spent so much time teasing us, even opening my Loungefly to try and steal my Christmas cookies or blocking our faces during pictures. We have never laughed so hard during a character meet and greet and it was such a great memory.

If you ever see these two in Magic Kingdom, take the time to say hi! I think we also got more time with them than we normally would since it was during the party and crowds for characters were low. This is one of the benefits of taking the time to interact with characters during these ticketed events!

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Ride Overlays

One of the best parts of attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is experiencing all of the holiday overlays in Magic Kingdom! While Jungle Cruise's overlay is available to all Walt Disney World guests, four attractions get a special holiday theme just for those attending the party.

  • Tomorrowland Speedway- The freeway is decked out with thousands of lights, decor plus a futuristic holiday soundtrack when you ride Tomorrowland Speedway.
  • Monster, Inc. Laugh Floor- The monsters will ‘fill their laugh canisters with holiday cheer' so you can expect a holiday take on this hilarious show.
  • Mad Tea Party- Spin your teacup to one of four-holiday combinations of lights and music!
  • Jingle Cruise- Jungle Cruise transforms into the Jingle Cruise as the skippers pull out their holiday puns.
  • Space Mountain-And arguably, one of the best themes on this list! Space Mountain will be transformed with holiday music and interstellar lightning.

You can expect lines to be longest for these attractions- most of all for Space Mountain. Jingle Cruise is available for daytime guests too so if you're visiting Magic Kingdom on another day save it for then or when you enter the park at 4 PM go experience it before the party officially begins.

EPCOT Festival of the Holidays Entertainment

The EPCOT International Festival of Holidays is about much more than the holiday food marketplace booths (although they're not to be missed!) with plenty of variety of holiday entertainment.

Gingerbread Spaceship Earth at EPCOT

Gingerbreadhouse WDW

NEW this year is the Spaceship Earth gingerbread display located at CommuniCore Hall in EPCOT. This 8-foot-tall gingerbread display took over 160 hours and lights up and dances to music throughout the day. There are also 11 Mickeys hidden throughout the display to reflect the 11 countries of the World Showcase.

Santa Claus- American Adventure

Epcot festival of holidays

Santa Claus greets guests at the American Adventure throughout the day. You can also enjoy the Voices of Liberty singing holiday Christmas carols in Charles Dickens-themed costumes plus view gingerbread displays of U.S. monuments. See all Disney World gingerbread houses ranked.

Epcot American Adventure

There will also be Holiday Storytellers at the American Adventure where guests can learn about Kwanzaa and Hanukkah.

Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition Scavenger Hunt

Christmasepcotguide

Like all Epcot festivals, the International Festival of Holidays also includes a scavenger hunt! Search for holiday traditions Olaf has gathered from around the world. You can purchase a map for $9.99 from the Creations Shop, Port of Entry, or International Gateway gift shops. Once you've submitted your map (you can also decide to just get your prize without doing the scavenger hunt) you can redeem it for a prize.

Living with the Land- Glimmering Greenhouses

Living with the Land Christmas

Don't forget to view the holiday overlay on Living with the Land as you drift through the twinkling holiday displays in the greenhouse. This is a beautiful addition for the season, it's worth taking the time to see!

EPCOT Candlelight Processional

The Candlelight Processional has been a Disney Parks tradition dating back to 1958 at Disneyland. The Candlelight Processional at Epcot takes place at the America Gardens Theatre featuring the Voices of Liberty and a choir of Disney cast members, a live orchestra, and celebrity narrators retelling the traditional Christmas story.

Candlelight Processional Dining Package Review

In the Candlelight Processional, you will hear the biblical story of Christmas typically told by a celebrity narrator and accompanied by a 50-piece orchestra and massed choir. This is a beloved tradition at Walt Disney World so be sure you don't miss it!

How do you get tickets to the Candlelight Processional at Epcot?

You do not require a separate ticket or reservation to see the Candlelight Processional at Epcot as its included in your park admission. The seating in the America Gardens Theatre is on a first come, first served basis so plan on reserving a spot early in the day.

If you don't want to worry about having to devote part of your park day reserving a spot, you can also purchase a dining package which are typically offered for the Candlelight Processional.

Since this is such a popular tradition at Epcot, I recommend either booking a dining package or being committed to reserving your seat at least 90 minutes prior to showtime.

The holiday season begins at Walt Disney World in November and runs until the first week of January which allows for plenty of time for guests to plan a seasonal vacation to one of the Happiest Places on Earth! Typically you can expect the holiday décor to remain up until early January.

Read on to find out everything you need to know for enjoying the holiday season at Walt Disney World.

Walt Disney World 2025 Christmas Dates

Walt Disney World will celebrate the holiday season November 14 through December 31, 2025.

The celebration at EPCOT doesn't start until after Thanksgiving Day and this year follows that same tradition. EPCOT International Festival of Holidays starts November 28 and concludes December 30, 2025. You can read more about confirmed returning holiday entertainment in our guide to returning 2025 Christmas entertainment at Walt Disney World.

We'll get additional news on what else is coming for the holiday celebration as we get closer. During the weeks leading up to the holidays once Disney World has already started to decorate for Christmas we will get the 2025 Disney World Christmas Foods Guide.

2025 Holiday Season at Magic Kingdom

Special holiday projection effects on Cinderella Castle

The main focus of celebration in Magic Kingdom Park is Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Guests attending the party will get to enjoy a special Christmas parade, fireworks, and snowfall in the park. You can also read about when Disney World decorates for Christmas here.

2025 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party Dates

  • Nov. 7, 10, 11, 13, 14, 16, 18, 20, 21, 25, 26, 28, 30
  • Dec. 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11, 12, 14, 16, 18, 19, 21

You can read more about the full list of entertainment offered at this popular Christmas party and how to purchase tickets in our Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party guide.

But if you don't attend the party, you can still enjoy all the holiday decor in Walt Disney World as the park will be fully decorated for all guests to enjoy along with plenty of holiday treats and merchandise to enjoy.

Jingle Cruise

Magic Kingdom also features the main Christmas attraction overlay (unlike Disneyland at Christmas, seasonal overlays aren't a common thing at Walt Disney World!) on the Jungle Cruise. The Jungle Cruise is transformed into the “Jingle Cruise” featuring themed holiday jokes told by the Skippers, holiday names for the boats, and holiday decor on the attraction.

Jingle Cruise is available during regular park hours and during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

Frozen-Inspired Show

Disney World Christmas

“Frozen Holiday Surprise” is a Frozen-inspired experience to illuminate the castle that can be seen during regular park hours and during Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. This show replaced the previous Castle Dreamlights (more on this below) and past holiday projections that cycled throughout the night since 2020.

Olaf and “more than 100 of his Snowgie siblings” decorate Cinderella Castle. Anna, Elsa, Olaf and Kristoff all appear live on stage with. The celebration ends with Elsa adding her sparkling touches to the castle which will illuminate Cinderella Castle into a shimmering, crystal palace that will remain throughout the evening.

In disappointing news for many Walt Disney World fans, the Cinderella Castle DreamLights will NOT be returning this year and is still being replaced by this new Frozen show. The Cinderella Castle Dreamlights have not returned to Walt Disney World since 2019 and have since been replaced by projections that illuminate the castle instead. Many fans hoped that we would see the lights return as the 50th Walt Disney World decorations were removed but it appears that the DreamLights are gone for good and have been replaced by the projection-style images we've seen on the castle. This was even further confirmed with the announcement of the return of this Frozen show.

If you want to see a castle lit up with actual glittering icicles and not projections, it's just more incentive to also visit Disneyland for Christmas!

Disney Jollywood Nights- After-Hours Event at Hollywood Studios

Hollywood Studios Xmas Party

Walt Disney World has announced that the newest holiday party, Jollywood Nights, is returning to Hollywood Studios! Disney Jollywood Nights will once again take place after Hollywood Studios closing time on select nights in November and December.

2025 Jollywood Nights Party Dates

  • Nov. 8, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29
  • Dec. 1, 6, 10, 13, 17, 20, 22

This party will take place from 8:30PM to 12:30AM and guests with tickets can enter Hollywood Studios as early as ^PM for the event. Since this party takes place after Hollywood Studios typically closes, this won't impact guests visiting the theme park without party tickets.

This new holiday party features the return of “Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!” plus new entertainment and a Muppets focused holiday special at Theater of the Stars! Read all the information including how to buy tickets in our Disney Jollywood Nights event guide.

Hollywood Studios

Sunset Seasons Greetings

Sunset Seasons Greeting's projection show is definitely worth a look as the Hollywood Tower becomes full of light including laser projections and snow.

When evening falls, the billboards transform into real life characters telling a tale of their love for the season.

These holiday scenes include:

  • Mickey and Minnie reminiscing about a hometown Christmas as the scene shifts into a romanticized, Norman Rockwell-inspired town—starting in black and white before slowly changing into color.
  • The Toy Story characters guessing which new toys are coming this Christmas as the scene becomes covered in holiday wrapping paper.
  • The Swedish Chef from The Muppets babbling as only he can while the scene turns into giant gingerbread houses.
  • And finally, Olaf pining over his holiday wish as iconic music plays and the scene freezes over into a Frozen winter wonderland—complete with dancing Aurora Borealis lights and projected falling snow.

Minnie's Seasonal Character Dining at Hollywood & Vine

Minnie Mouse hosting a yuletide gathering at Hollywood & Vine at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Hollywood & Vine at Hollywood Studios changes their character dining throughout the year to match the park seasonal celebrations. The holiday Hollywood & Vine character dining includes Santa Goofy along with Minnie and other friends dressed in their holiday best. You can read our full review of this holiday experience to see why we loved this special event.

Echo Lake Holiday Decorations

Christmas tree at Disney's Hollywood Studios

Echo Lake gets a merry makeover with extra-large ornaments, colorful garlands and a giant Christmas tree centered on the water. Even Dinosaur Gertie will be festively dressed for the occasion!

Disney does not disappoint with their seasonal decorations so take the time to soak it in and enjoy!

Read more about Hollywood Studios at Christmas in our guide which covers all the best decorations, special food, characters, and more!

EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays

American Holiday Table featuring Slow-roasted Turkey with Stuffing from the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays

EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays takes place November 29th through December 30th, featuring the popular Holiday kitchens around the World Showcase promenade. This will include favorite treats such as the American Holiday Table featuring Slow-roasted Turkey with Stuffing and Bavaria Holiday Kitchen with dishes like Cheese Fondue in a Bread Bowl.

The Voices of Liberty will perform on the America Gardens Theatre stage again this year for a concert of carols and holiday songs. We will keep updating with menu, entertainment, and tips for visiting the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. Guests can also view holiday character cavalcades at Epcot including Mickey, Anna & Elsa, Santa, and more!

Animal Kingdom

At Animal Kingdom you can expect the park to be decked out in breathtaking holiday décor.

Walt Disney World has made an effort to include a greater amount of things to do and see for the holiday season at Animal Kingdom.

Tree of Life Awakenings

The Tree of Life awakens during the holiday season wintry tales projected on the tree.

Discovery Island

disney world christmas characters

This winter celebration at Discovery Island includes life-size, artisan-sculpted animal puppets that include reindeer, foxes, and polar bears. These winter animal puppets, called the Merry Menagerie, will appear throughout the day. The park’s iconic Tree of Life also awakens each evening with a colorful tableau of wintry tales accompanied by a musical score. At night the rooftop will be filled with luminous lights and bird lanterns.

Walt Disney World Gingerbread Displays

One of the most beloved traditions at Walt Disney World is multiple gingerbread displays at the various resorts at the park. Last year's Disney World gingerbread houses included displays at these hotels:

  • Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
  • Disney’s Beach Club Resort
  • Disney’s BoardWalk Resort
  • Disney’s Contemporary Resort
  • Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
  • Disney’s Yacht Club Resort

You can read all about the Disney World gingerbread houses and our tips to see them in our guide.

Easily the most famous of all is the gingerbread house at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. You can view clouds of cinnamon billowing out of the chimney of this life-sized storybook gingerbread house made from a classic Austrian recipe.

This house is adorned with white chocolate, candy canes, edible snowflakes, sugar poinsettias, and 25 – yes, 25 – hidden Mickeys! Along the porches, you’ll find an 85-pound chocolate Santa, nutcrackers, toy soldiers, and snowmen that have all been hand-painted by the Grand Floridian Bakery team.

You can even get limited edition pins, mugs, holiday ornaments, and treats! Some of the goodies you can purchase from the Gingerbread House include:

  • Freshly baked, homemade items, such as Gingerbread Mickeys and Shingles, Stollen Bread, Brownie Christmas Tree, and Chocolate Peppermint Bark
  • House-made Gingerbread Ornaments and Gingerbread Houses
  • New items like the Gingerbread Latte Whoopie Pie and Hot Cocoa Bombs
  • Assorted Gingerbread Cookie Bags, Marshmallow Pops, and Caramel Pecan Fudge Bar
  • Gluten-friendly, plant-based, and no sugar added treats
  • Grand Floridian Combo Box featuring assorted fan favorite treats, including the Chocolate Mickey Ornament, exclusive to the Combo Box

Animal Kingdom Lodge features a Life-sized Baby Gingerbread Giraffe and Baby Zebra.

While you're over at Animal Kingdom Lodge you can even decorate an ornament with ostrich shells. These mosaic-like ornaments are made from crushed and dyed ostrich eggs.

Since no male ostriches live in the park or resort, these eggs remain unfertilized and go unused by the female ostriches who lay them on a cycle similar to chickens. Once cleaned, the eggs are crushed and colorfully dyed, glued onto an animal-shaped ornament of your choosing, and tied off with a recycled telephone wire. Guests can participate by visiting the recreation clubhouses at Jambo House and Kidani Village.

The Beach Club Resort features a famous gingerbread life-sized carousel that's been a tradition since 1999 that actually spins! This carousel and its horses are masterfully created with chocolate, sugar, and fondant along with hand-painted characters and hand-crafted gingerbread shingles and snowflakes decorating the display. What makes this year even more special is that all the horses celebrate a different Disney princess. Commemorate your holiday viewing with limited edition pins, mugs, holiday ornaments, and treats including:

  • Signature Stollen Bread
  • Candied Pecans (Plant-based)
  • Trio of Fudge
  • Chocolate Covered Marshmallow Snowman
  • Crispy Rice Treat
  • Chocolate Mickey Cookie (New)
  • Peppermint Bark
  • Gingerbread Shingle
  • Chocolate Gingerbread Cookie (Gluten-Friendly)
  • Gingerbread Cookie (Gluten-Friendly)

BoardWalk Inn's gingerbread display includes a miniature, edible version of the BoardWalk Deli! Before leaving, be sure to check out some of the treats you can take home with you, like:

  • Mickey and Minnie Sugar Cookies
  • BoardWalk Mickey Sugar Cookie (New)
  • Giant Gingerbread Mickey Cookie (New)
  • Gluten-Friendly & Plant-based Gingerbread Mickey Cookie
  • Artisan Peppermint Marshmallows (New)
  • Carnival Bark (New)
  • Gingerbread Frost Cocktail

Last year Disney’s Contemporary Resort featured a Mary Blair-inspired Cinderella Gingerbread Castle- designed by Walt Disney Imagineers featuring a brand-new 50th anniversary overlay… 11 hidden 5-legged goats! Don’t forget to check out the limited-edition pins, mugs, and holiday ornaments to remember the season. We will see what the Contemporary Resort has in mind this year now that the 50th anniversary is over!

And of course, to keep with the Gingerbread spirit, several areas around the resort will feature a new Gingerbread Martini with Absolut Elyx Vodka, Rumchata Cream Liqueur, and gingerbread spice featuring a rim of gingerbread, freshly baked in the Resort Bakery. You can find this delicious holiday beverage at Grand Floridian Café, Cítricos, and Enchanted Rose at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Boma: Flavors of Africa and Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, Chef Mickey’s and Outer Rim at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, and dinner at Cape May Café at Disney’s Beach Club Resort.

The American Adventure at EPCOT also has a gingerbread display. This unique display recreates some classic monuments in America and EPCOT with gingerbread versions of the Lincoln Memorial, Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial, The American Adventure building with Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue, and a Festival Kiosk.

Blizzard Beach Holiday Festivities

Blizzard Beach gets into the Christmas spirit as well with additions from the popular Frozen films. In the kid's section of Tike's Peak you can find Anna and Elsa's igloo castle along with Olaf and his Snowgie pals in the wading pool.

Through the holiday season, guests can enjoy seasonal holiday treats such as the Orange Bird DOLE Whip cone and Peppermint Milkshake.

This holiday season also brings more seasonal touches to Blizzard Beach like daily snowfall, holiday music, festive inner tubes and a tropical-dressed Santa.

EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is one of the most popular EPCOT festivals and arguably the food marketplace festival that started it all at EPCOT. This festival takes place in late summer and continues until the fall. The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival features a variety of international foods and wine selections.

We have gone to every EPCOT festival and visit the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival each year. This is one of our favorite EPCOT festivals with the most selection of food marketplace booths. Keep reading for our full breakdown of all the offerings for the International Food & Wine Festival, our reviews on experiences, and the food guide!

This article has been checked for accuracy for 2025 and updated with all currently available information. Some of the information from previous years has been kept here to give you a sense of what will likely be offered in 2025.

EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival 2025 Dates

The EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is returning for 90 days in 2025, taking place from August 28 to November 22, 2025 this year. This is the same length of time it was in 2024 so it seems that the August start date is here to stay. In previous years the starting month has been in July.

EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival Marketplace Booths

For most attendees, the marketplace booths are the most important part of the festival. Granted, there are several other elements of the festival, but the booths are the #1 people experience at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival. Snack-sized portions available for purchase at each booth allow you to eat your way through several countries and cultures.

The 2025 EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival foods have not yet been announced, but you can see last year's foods below for an idea of what to expect.

EPCOT is one of Disney’s most adventurous parks and well worth the price of admission to experience all that both World Celebration and World Showcase have to offer. What many people are not aware of is that EPCOT offers FREE (well included with the price of admission) concerts throughout the year that you can attend on your park day.

Disney tries to theme the concerts after the festival that is taking place. There are four festivals throughout the year at EPCOT, so you can almost guarantee that you will have the opportunity to see an amazing performance while you are visiting.

Keep reading for our full list of the EPCOT concert schedule including lineup and performance times when available.

EPCOT International Festival of the Arts

The first EPCOT festival of the year is the International Festival of the Arts. The Festival is designed to celebrate visual, culinary, and performing arts. The festival typically takes place mid-January through late February.

The visual art component is celebrated through different shops and artist feature stations throughout the World Showcase. You may even get to view a piece of art completed in front of you.

The performing arts are celebrated through live performances throughout the World Showcase. A part of these performances is the Disney on Broadway Concert Series.

All concerts take place at the America Gardens Theatre in the American Adventure Pavilion. There are three separate showtimes for the concerts: 5:30 PM, 6:45 PM, and 8:00 PM. Seating is first come and can fill up quickly depending on the performance.

The pricing is $69.00 per Adult and $27.00 per Child.

Garden Grill Restaurant – The Land Pavilion

The Garden Grill Restaurant is also located outside of the World Showcase in the Land Pavilion. This is another great option for families for the price because it is a character meal where your family can meet Chip and Dale and friends! This restaurant also slowly spins and allows you to get a great view of the Living with the Land ride.

At this family-style meal, breakfast options are there to delight all appetites with eggs, waffles, fresh fruit, cheesy potato casserole, and more.

Lunch and dinner are also family style. For this meal, guests can enjoy a table full of chicken, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, seasonal vegetables, and desserts.

The breakfast price is $53.00 for Adults and $34.00 per Child. For Lunch/Dinner the price is $66.00 per Adult and $43.00 for a Child.

Le Cellier Steakhouse -Canada Pavilion

The Le Cellier Steakhouse located in the Canada Pavilion is a popular option for good reason: delicious food. Guests get to dine in a replica of an authentic Canadian chateau.

Food options on the menu for your tasting are tender steaks, fresh seafood, cheesy poutine fries and other regional cuisine inspired by the provinces of Canada.

Slightly pricier than the other options, Le Cellier costs $95.00 for Adults and $36.00 for children.

Rose and Crown Dining Room -United Kingdom Pavilion

The Rose and Crown Dining Room is a family-friendly, waterfront restaurant located in the United Kingdom Pavilion.

The adult entrees include traditional British selections like fish and chips and bangers and mash. The children’s menu is a prix fixe of house salad, choice of fish and chips or grilled chicken and a choice of seasonal gelato or fruit salad for dessert.

The cost to dine is $59.00 per Adult and $25.00 per Child.

Spice Road Table – Morocco Pavilion

The Spice Road Table Restaurant is located in the Morocco Pavilion and features a selection of small plates instead of large entree options.

There are 11 different Mediterranean small plate options on the menu to choose from. With the dining package, guests can choose 2 of the small plates and 1 dessert plate. There really are options for everyone in your party with Hummus Fries, Spiced Chicken, Dolmas, and Naan spreads, just to name a few.

The price $47.00 for Adults and $20.00 for Children.

Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue (same-day dining packages only) – American Adventure Pavilion

Regal Eagle Smokehouse is a newer restaurant located in the American Adventure Pavilion and serves up American Barbecue classics from all over the Southeast.

While the burgers, brisket, and chicken are all delicious, the sides are almost as good as the entrees. To choose between onion rings, beans, house-made pickles, coleslaw, macaroni and cheese, or seasoned french fries is almost impossible.

The cheapest option on the dining package list, Regal Eagle only costs $35.00. It is also the only restaurant where you can choose same day dining packages.

EPCOT Dining Package Basics

Guests will receive seating badges at the restaurant after their meal. The badge will specify the date and show time they have reserved.

Guests with dining packages will enter America Gardens Theatre in a separate queue and will be seated on a first-come, first-served basis. Seating is guaranteed.

Dining packages are only available on the days when there are featured concerts, not when the local artists perform.
To enter EPCOT, both a theme park reservation and valid theme park admission are required. EPCOT admission is not included in the price of the dining package.

EPCOT Concert Series Tips

Popular bands tend to have extremely long lines at the EPCOT concerts waiting to grab the best seats between each show. The outdoor theater seats roughly 1,000 people on benches. Get there at least 30 minutes early to line up.

Don’t worry if you don’t get in the theater. You can still view and hear the artists from the American Pavilion pathway or courtyard.

Bands will sometimes change their set for each showing, so you can see the same performer multiple times and get a new experience each time.

No matter which EPCOT concert you attend, you are sure to have a great time! We recommend grabbing a dining package to get the best seats and choose a later concert time when the band is really warmed up, excited, and pumped with the crowd.

EPCOT Concerts FAQ

EPCOT Concert Lineup

What time are the concerts at EPCOT?

There are typically three separate showtimes where guests can attend an EPCOT concert. The showings are typically going to be 5:30, 6:45, and 8:00 PM for the “big name” concerts showing at the American Adventure Pavilion. The showtimes can vary due to unforeseen circumstances, so it is always best to check the My Disney Experience App for specific times.

Where do bands play at EPCOT?

The EPCOT concerts that take place during the festivals are going to be performed at the American Adventure Pavilion in the America Pavilion. This is located across from Regal Eagle Smokehouse in the World Showcase. All local bands and smaller stage shows will take place in their countries.

What time are the Eat to the Beat concerts at EPCOT?

EPCOT performances are held three times each night. The first showing is at 5:30 p.m., the second at 6:45 p.m. and the third at 8 p.m. All showings take place at the America Gardens Theatre. Local bands will take the stage Tuesdays through Thursdays. The concerts are included with park admission. If you have not booked a Concert Dining Package, make sure you are there 30-40 minutes before the show begins.

Walt Disney World celebrates the 4th of July with two fireworks shows in Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, plus a list of specialty food items available at the parks and hotels. Walt Disney World's 4th of July fireworks spectaculars are one of the best ways to celebrate the holiday.

I have spent the 4th of July at Walt Disney World and enjoyed the fireworks on this popular holiday, so I have the best tips on how crowded the parks are on the holiday, plus the best tips on watching the fireworks and enjoying any seasonal activities.

Is Walt Disney World Crowded On the 4th of July Weekend?

Magic Kingdom Fireworks

Disney World on the 4th of July can draw crowds just like any other holiday, especially since holidays equal time off work, so families tend to use this time to spend it going to Disney! The good news is that summer at Disney World has become more manageable in recent years as guests seem to prioritize the more popular holidays like Halloween and Christmas. But you can still plan on regular tourist crowds attending Walt Disney World in the summer.

So many wrongly assume Walt Disney World will be empty and think many people will be celebrating the 4th of July at home rather than at the parks. While this may be true for some locals, Walt Disney World is a popular tourist destination and the 4th of July is a popular time to travel.

According to our Walt Disney World crowd calendar, both Magic Kingdom and EPCOT are expected to have above normal crowd levels for the 4th of July and the following Saturday. Most of these crowds will begin to materialize for the fireworks shows in the evening at both Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, so it's best to arrive early so you're not stuck in long lines at the entrance gates. Plan on spending the day at the parks so you can relax during the day enjoying the magic and be prepared to stake your viewing spot when the time comes.

Disney World Magic Kingdom 4th of July Fireworks

Magic Kingdom Fireworks

The Disney World fireworks show “Disney's Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky!” is not a missable experience! This spectacular fireworks show was created just to honor America to celebrate the 4th of July and will be shown both July 3rd and July 4th at 9:20 PM in Magic Kingdom. Enjoy a patriotic-themed music score along with a fantastic display of fireworks and castle projections with an American theme, with some red, white, and blue mixed in.

On the 3rd and 4th of July, Magic Kingdom is open until 11 PM. In past years, these years were extended, but currently the schedule is listed as the park hours operating as normal.

From 7 PM to 10 PM, guests can also enjoy themed dance DJ parties happening around the park in Frontierland, Cinderella Castle, and Tomorrowland.

Magic Kingdom 4th of July Fireworks Viewing Tips

Due to the projections shown on the castle, the best viewing spot for the fireworks is directly in front of the castle. Since this is the prime viewing location, you can expect this spot to fill up quickly! For a typical fireworks show, this spot starts filling up more than an hour in advance. For the Disney World 4th of July, I would keep an eye on the area in front of the castle a few hours before show time, so you know when you should grab your spot. If it were me, I would plan on saving my spot three hours in advance if I wanted this view!

The hub in front of Cinderella's Castle offers a lot of space, so if you don't get the front row viewing of the Disney World 4th of July fireworks show, you will still have a great view further back. Fireworks in Magic Kingdom are designed to be seen from the hub (the area where you can find the Walt Disney and Mickey statue- the Partners statue!) and Main Street, U.S.A. The closer you can be to the castle, the better. You can read more about our viewing tips for seeing fireworks at Walt Disney World in our Magic Kingdom fireworks guide.

Disney World 4th of July EPCOT Fireworks

EPCOT Fireworks

The patriotic fireworks display “The Heartbeat of Freedom” will follow the show Luminous “The Symphony of Us” at EPCOT. You can see these performances on July 4th at 9 PM. “The Heartbeat of Freedom” is a sparkling grand finale blending pyrotechnics with tributes to America’s history. See everything you need to know about EPCOT fireworks in our guide.

Spaceship Earth will also be illuminated in bright red, white, and blue colors on July 4th in honor of the holiday.

On the 4th of July, EPCOT will be open until 9PM, so all of the special entertainment starts at park closing. If you don't like crowds, EPCOT is a great choice to enjoy a fireworks show as Magic Kingdom will be far more crowded.

Disney World EPCOT 4th of July Entertainment

There will be several entertainment offerings for the 4th of July at EPCOT. Special photo ops will be available with Mickey, Goofy, Pluto and Chip ‘n’ Dale at The American Adventure pavilion in the World Showcase.

The a cappella group Voices of Liberty will perform patriotic songs in the rotunda of The American Adventure, including special performances of “Voices of Liberty: Echoing the Sound of America.”

Portraits of Courage exhibit

Guests can see the special exhibit from the George W. Bush Institute, Portraits of Courage: A Commander in Chief’s Tribute to America’s Warriors, honoring veterans at the American Adventure Pavilion at EPCOT. The exhibit features over 60 paintings by President Bush of service members and veterans who have served since 9/11.

President Bush has come to know these veterans personally since leaving office. You can see details about the Portraits of Courage exhibit in our full article on when we got to see the debut of this exhibit at EPCOT.

This was originally announced to be a 12-month exhibition, but now it has been extended through 2026.

Disney World 4th of July Patriotic Experiences

American Pavilion in EPCOT

Enjoy an all-American funnel cake and take in the American Adventure Show! This show features 35 audio-animatronic figures, projections on a 72-foot screen, and patriotic songs as it tells the story of America with guides Benjamin Franklin and Mark Twain. The show features the landing of the Mayflower, Boston Tea Party, winter at Valley Forge, Declaration of Independence, Civil War and the Great Depression. Famous historical figures featured in the show include Susan B. Anthony, Frederick Douglass, Thomas Jefferson, Chief Joseph and Teddy Roosevelt.

Hall of Presidents in Magic Kingdom

The Hall of Presidents features all of the US presidents in audio-animatronic form with each once moving or speaking in acknowledgement with the highlight of the show being Abraham Lincoln as he rises from his chair to give the Gettysburg Address.

Flag Retreat in Magic Kingdom

Each day at Walt Disney World you have the chance to view The Flag Retreat Ceremony at the end of Main Street, U.S.A. which is one of the ways that Disney honors our past and current military members. The Flag Retreat happens daily around 5PM. Guests are asked to join in the Pledge of Allegiance before the Flag Retreat begins, followed by a chorus of “God Bless America” with the crowd removing their hats and putting their hands over their hearts. Current service members and veterans are invited to come stand by the flag during the ceremony. The Color Guard lowers the flag while the National Anthem is performed. After the ceremony, the Color Guard and cast members have a short procession down Main Street, U.S.A.

Carousel of Progress in Magic Kingdom

This classic Walt Disney attraction follows the history of technology throughout the 20th century through a distinctive American lens. This nostalgic show is a fan favorite, but is also a nice nod to American history and Walt Disney himself.

Walt Disney World 4th of July Food Guide
